Edward Neeman, pianist

I’m honored to present my work on the independent sostenuto pedal at the MTNA National Conference in Las Vegas during the poster session on March 23 and 24. Click here for more information on this exciting new pedaling technique.

I will return to Cuba this June to participate in the III Encuentro festival, playing the Concerto No. 2 by Bela Bartók.

My wife, Stephanie Neeman, and I have just confirmed a performance with the National Capital Orchestra in Canberra, Australia on August 16. We will perform the Double Piano Concerto by Francis Poulenc, and I will also play the Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini by Sergei Rachmaninoff. Can’t wait!

As part of my passion for bringing the Classical music of today to new audiences, I have started a series of videos introducing new piano works. The first video features Amethyst Variations (2012) by Joel Hoffman.
